Denver Hail Command Center

Live Hail Tracking: Front Range Corridor

Our Command Center uses high-resolution NEXRAD radar data to identify damaging hail cores. Don’t rely on the insurance company’s visual inspection; use technical data to prove your loss.

The Right to Double Damages: C.R.S. § 10-3-1116

Colorado law is uniquely aggressive in protecting policyholders. Under C.R.S. § 10-3-1115, an insurance company cannot unreasonably delay or deny payment. If they do, C.R.S. § 10-3-1116 allows you to recover two times the covered benefit plus attorney fees.

“A first-party claimant… whose claim for payment of benefits has been unreasonably delayed or denied may bring an action… to recover reasonable attorney fees and court costs and two times the covered benefit.”

Defeating the “Cosmetic Damage” Exclusion

Adjusters often use a 15-minute walk-through to label hail dents as “cosmetic imperfections.” We use forensic engineering to prove functional failure, including:

  • Fiberglass Mat Fractures: Hail impacts of 1.5″ or larger create internal tears that shorten roof life by 50%.
  • Granule Stripping: Loss of protective granules leads to UV degradation and leaks within months.
  • Warranty Invalidation: Unrepaired hail damage voids manufacturer warranties, devaluing your home.
