Elizabeth Hernandez (“Ms. Hernandez”) is an Associate at FGC. She is a trial lawyer who primarily focuses her practice in first-party insurance litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and elder law, including probate administration, guardianship, and estate planning, as well as immigration.
Ms. Hernandez attended St. Thomas University for her undergraduate degree where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Certificate in Criminal Justice, graduating cum laude. She then continued her studies at St. Thomas University College of Law, as a scholarship recipient, where she graduated cum laude, with a Juris Doctor and Certificate in Elder Law. Ranked top 20% (48/234) of her class.
While attending law school, Ms. Hernandez earned Dean’s List awards and received the “Book Award” for the highest grade in Guardianship Law and Pre-trial Practice. Ms. Hernandez also served as Vice-President for the Elder Law Society and was a member of St. Thomas University College of Law’s trial team where she competed in the 2023 Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial Competition as a finalist.
