Mr. Hugo L. Garcia (“Mr. Garcia”) is a Cuban-American lawyer from Miami, Florida. Mr. Garcia graduated cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he ranked top 20% (41/200) of his class. Mr. Garcia is the founder and Shareholder of FGC Attorneys, a law firm located in the heart of Miami, Florida. Currently, he represents individuals, entrepreneurs, contractors, sub-contractors, real estate developers & investors, corporations, businesses in construction, engineering, & software development, and other emerging businesses. Mr. Garcia represents his clients in both federal and state courts, in transactions, and before quasi-judicial governmental bodies.
Prior to establishing FGC Attorneys, Mr. Garcia was a trial lawyer for a national collections litigation firm that concentrated exclusively on the legal representation of Fortune 500 companies and small-to-mid-size businesses. Mr. Garcia was also a trial lawyer for a national defense firm, which also represented Fortune 500 companies, small-to-mid-size businesses, and individuals, where he litigated, and was involved in, complex cases that ranged from: wrongful death to opioid multidistrict litigation.
Mr. Garcia has tried several jury and non-jury cases. He has also represented numerous clients in multi-million dollar transactions ranging from residential and commercial real estate transactions to the acquisition of multi-million dollar companies.
